1. The simple classic
Sometimes simple is best. For this date in heaven (see what we did there!), pair your favourite coffee with a few squares of Acazen Milk Chocolate on the side. To fully relish the notes of each flavour, try the following:
Take a bite of chocolate and chew, allowing the chocolate to partially melt. Once the chocolate begins melting in your mouth, take a sip of coffee and savour the fusion of flavours.

2. In a mocha.
A mocha is the delicious answer to when you just can’t decide between a hot chocolate or a coffee. For this one, you’ll want to use the classic Acazen Milk Chocolate (without date pieces). You’ll need:
- 15 squares of Acazen Milk Chocolate, melted
- 150 ml espresso
- 50 ml milk
Add the espresso to your mug, followed by the melted chocolate, then the milk, and mix together until smooth. For an iced mocha, pour over ice before serving. If you’re feeling fancy, blend with ice and add a little extra milk to make the perfect mocha milkshake!
3. Coffee-flavoured hot chocolate.
This recipe is perfect for those times when you’re craving the richness of hot chocolate but need a little extra kick! You’ll need:
- 15 squares of Acazen Milk Chocolate, melted
- 200 ml milk
- a shot of espresso (or 2g of instant coffee)
Mix together the melted chocolate and milk in a pan over low heat, then pour into your mug. Add the espresso (or instant coffee) and stir to combine. Enjoy your piece of heaven in a mug 😉
4. Chocolate fondue
For a fruity twist to the traditional coffee-and-chocolate experience, try this chocolate fondue. This one’s similar to the simple classic way of enjoying coffee with Acazen Milk Chocolate, but this time you’ll want to melt the chocolate in a small bowl. Cut up your favourite fruits to dip in the chocolate, and voila, you’ve made the perfect snack!
5. DIY chocolate cold brew ice lollies
Cooling down on a hot day has never tasted sweeter. Depending on the size of your moulds, this recipe makes 8-10 ice lollies. Make sure to use the classic Acazen Milk Chocolate (without date pieces) in this recipe for a uniformly smooth consistency. You’ll need:
- 300 ml cold brew coffee
- 120 ml half cream
- 1 bar Acazen Milk Chocolate, melted
- Ice lolly moulds
Blend all your ingredients together until evenly mixed, pour equal amounts into the ice lolly moulds, and freeze until solid.
6. Coffee ice cream
This is the lazy version of the chocolate cold brew ice lollies, but every bit as delicious! Chop, shave, or melt 4 squares of Acazen Milk Chocolate and add over your favourite brand of coffee ice cream for a truly delectable dessert. 7. Chocolate coffee nice cream
The healthier version of coffee ice cream, this nice cream is good enough to eat for breakfast! All you need is 4 ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 15 ml milk (to be added as needed)
- 2g instant coffee
- 8 squares of Acazen Milk Chocolate, melted
Add the bananas, coffee, and chocolate to a blender and blend on high speed. Add up to 15 ml milk as needed to help with blending, and keep blending until creamy and smooth. Freeze the mixture overnight and enjoy your heavenly concoction in the morning!
